Jesse and I decided some time ago not to book a "pregnancy" photo session. Lately, though, I've been regretting our decision. I've loved being pregnant so much and all we have are the photos we've been taking for this blog. So we set up a tripod, took some photos, and tried to have fun with it!

Full Term! (37 weeks)

Here we are -- three weeks from our due date and I'm feeling wonderful. I feel pretty lucky to have had such a great pregnancy so far - I'm even still sleeping really well!

Baby McD-D seems like she's always on the move but we did get confirmation at our last prenatal appointment that she's head down and in position!

We've still got a lot to do before her arrival:

Prime and paint her dresser
Wash all of her clothes
Decorate the baby room
Pack a bag for the birth

Here are the things we've checked off our list:
Hired our doula team
Prepped diapers (we're using a variety of all-in-one cloth diapers)
Painted her bookshelf
Got our books out of her room
Installed car seat
Set up swing
Organized clothes by size

I'm sure there are many other to do/done items but those are what I can think of off the top of my head.

Just a few short weeks to go until you get to stop looking at pictures of me and start looking at pictures of her!! In the meantime...here I am at 37/40 weeks:

One month left!

I'll admit it... when Corinne first got pregnant I was a little afraid of how the pregnancy would go.  Some women have a pretty rough time of it.  Luckily, though, Corinne seems to have been born to make babies!
She's been energetic and for the most part feeling great through all 8 months of pregnancy so far.  Yesterday morning, we decided to go down to the beach on Coronado for a walk.  Here's Corinne excited about some coffee.

 

And here is Corinne back at home against the usual wall wearing the usual dress.  Doesn't she look great?
